I had the flap done after radiation and implants. Its been 1 year and i need another revision becauae the unradiated side is loqer. The flap can not be undone. The wound just opened up after 3 years? I can recommend my Breast surgeon. He leads the Breast reconstruction team at Stony brook Hospital for a consult. I heard several say they were treated using a hyperbaric chamber for wound healing. I would definetly talk to your surgeon.

No experience with trans flap--I would suppose it could be undone--all depends on what your problem might be. A great question for your surgeon

They shouldn't have irradiated your flap. They can redo with a fresh flap but not tram...may Lattimore.
