I take 5000iu of vitamin D. Take a basic daily multivitamin liquid preferred or gelcapsule not a cold pressed tablet. It is a good idea to eat fish (coldwater) two times a week and or a fish oil supplement. Could consider doing glutamine twice a day 5 g. each serv.. 20-25 percent of your diet should be coming from lean or very lean sources of protein. Body loves whey and egg protein the most. May consider Cal Mag Zinc depending on your age to prevent bone loss or depending on if your are doing chemo for your treatment. My husband is a certified Nutrition coach and helped me with this answer. If you would like to contact us you may do so .
I do more of which ones to not use than which to use. I make sure I buy a nongendered senior multivitamin, not one just for women. I limit use of soy products. In general, I eat healthier and lighter than I did before. Most of the supplements I do are the calcium, Vit D, and Magnesium for bone health because of taking Arimidex.
@A MyBCTeam Member, I take a combo Curcumin/Boswellia capsule for pain (antiinflamatory). If it's bad enough where it's preventing sleep, I throw 10 or 20 lbs of Epsom Salts in a bath and soak away. The high level of magnesium helps ease the pain and makes me very sleepy.

And stress reduction WINS!!!
Seriously, I'm so glad we're taking a sober look at what stress can do and the implication to our prognosis as sister soldiers.
Thanks to each one of you for your sage advice. I've learned a lot from you!
Here's what I take:
Cholesteramine off-lable, overseen by my integrative MD for post tx detox. I waited a year from last tx.
I take D3, Lycopene, fucoiden, Boswellia Curcumin and CLA (conjugated liniolic acid).
The first two are noted as low in some relapsed BC cases, enough, at least, to raise a few eyebrows. http://www.breastcancer.org/risk/factors/low_vit_d

Fucoiden encourages apoptosis- cell death. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC356...
Boswellia and Curcumin are anti-inflammatories. Like me, you'd have to buy into the theory that inflammation is causal in cancer development to give these a second look: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC353...
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC325...
CLA has been shown to shrink tumors: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/16469152/
I wash all of these down my gullet with my Tamoxafin, do the sign of the cross, knock on wood and pinch myself. ;0). What more could I possibly do, lol?!
