I got Lupron shot every three months. I am also on Arimidex pill daily and Xgeva shot every month. So far so good. I had only only one Lupron shot, my next one is in March. It's used to stop my ovaries from working without having surgery. I gained weight and have hot flashes, but I can't really tell if this is from the Lupron or from the Arimidex.
@CaI have had a total of 5 lupron injections so far... With my sixth one coming up next week. I receive them once a month..... I just wanted them to remove my overies... That's been a battle. Is far as side effects... I'm gaining weight 😞 Plus every joint in my body aches.... Especially my hips and I've been experiencing hot flashes which I feel over take me at times... and some headaches also.
