I'm getting drains removed on Thursday. Is this going to hurt? Do they just pull them out? I have two. Where they come out, they are a little scabbed over and there is a stitch holding them. I can't wait to have them removed, but can't imagine this doesn't hurt. I have quite a bit of tenderness throughout my chest where I can feel the drains under my skin.
Yep unfortunately the bullet holes will be there as a reminder of the fight we were in.
I was scared to death, but turns out I didn't need to be. Doctor took them out while I was talking to him, didn't feel a thing.
I had them out this morning,.. Didn't hurt at all and what a relief!! Thank you all for your advice, it helped a lot!

I had two drains and they were in for almost a month. I did not feel anything when they pulled them out.

I would use the word Weird but not painful. I did take a half a Valium and was disappointed I wasted it! HA! Super easy no worries!
