Anyone experience swelling of legs and feet, after chemo. I'm 3 weeks out getting worse by the day. I have to work, be on my feet... I try to rest as much as I can. I feel good when I'm moving around as soon as I sit, they just start to swell and burn. Normal?

Amazingly, these offices don't close come hell or high water...or snow! Maybe start thinking of any transportation issues that may come up for you as you head into your radiation schedule and try to make a plan.

Strange edema warrants a call on Monday morning. In the mean time, raise your legs as often as possible; drink plenty of water; try compression methods--get some of those compression socks...ugly, but should provide some relief.

I had the same experience, and I still get some swelling at times, 12 weeks out. It is so much better, for a while, I couldn't even wear shoes and socks. Good luck!
