Get it done! Out and live and have fun. If you don't need chemo out with it. Enjoy life and don't think about this cancer. A port would just be another reminder

I just finished chemo on Jan 8th and in May my doctor is having my port taken out. You should be able to have your port removed.

Yes and if no chemo needed talk to onc to see if you can have it removed

I would have it removed, but if you keep it, it must be flushed every 4-6 wks. Removing it can be done in the surgeons office, quick and totally painless. 💗💗💗
