Hi. On Saturday (2 days before my last radiation). I found a lump in my other non-treated boob. This time the entire boob hurts. I went for a mam and ultrasound they were both negative. I asked if I was just being perinoid but they both felt the lump too. No one knows what is. They asked if I wanted to go right to MRI or if I wanted to wait till it went away, if it was premenstral, or I could let them know if it seemed to get any bigger. Yes! Get the MRI! My doctors dismissed a palpable lump for two years and did nothing. It was cancer, found only with MRI. I don't want to scare you but there is not way to know for sure without it and with already having a cancer diagnosis I wouldn't play wait and see ever again!
Put your mind at ease and get the test. Then your not stressing, we don't need extra stress in our lives. It's a pain to do more testing but worth peace of mind. Hugs!
I agree with Laura, get the MRI. An MRI is easy and you can change your mind regarding anything about your health. This way if it is the C word than know to follow diagnostics and treatment for that as well. Or if it's nothing than you can exhale and concentrate on your current treatment comfortably. I hope all goes well and you can exhale.
Get the MRI and if needed a biopsy.
I found a lump in my treated boob about pea size. In a month, I will get a mammogram just to check and after my boob heals. Just finished RAD 1/7/16. Get it checked out!
