After a BMX in June, I had nipple reconstruction last Monday. I didn't feel a thing. Still don't. No real swelling or anything. They are healing just fine. It's the easiest thing I've gone through this far. Good luck.

I'm about a month ahead of you on the nipple reconstruction. Follow Drs orders. Make sure you continue to protect your new 'nips' with gauze when wearing a bra and/or tight shirt. I have a bit more recon to do then I, too, am off to 'get my Vinnies'...

Well, it's done! He shot me with lidocaine and boy, did that hurt! I thought I was numb, guess not down deep. I just have gauze pads that are cut in the middle, but he wants me to shower tomorrow. Seems too soon. Yay! I have nipples!!
