What do women use to help with the vaginal dryness intercourse has become almost impossible and so painful. Before my diagnosis I used
estrogen suppositories and it worked great I have tried coconut oil and replenish suppositories and a nu eve vag suppository. This just isn't working
for me. Any suggestions please !!!
Ask your dr about 5%lidocaine OINTMENT! place on Vaginal vestibule not clitoris wait 5-10 min and wipe off ! Still use lube but this is a miracle. New research supports this therapy
I'm ER positive, too, but my doctor did a study and found that the estring estrogen stays local and is apparently not a risk for ER positive women (despite the warnings that come with the drug) -- so it might be worth asking your doctor about it. Of course, totally understandable if you want to stay clear of all things estrogen related -- plus, while I feel better, I'm not sure if it's a cure-all yet.
unfortunately I can't use anything with estrogen :(
I tried all sorts of lubes and they didn't help. I now have an rx for dhea. Not perfect but much better than anything else.
