I still have issues with my hands and legs from knees down. Last night was awful and I was actually thankful tha my husband was out of town. I went to the gym on the elliptical as I know they say I have to try but the result last night was worse than normal. I haven't been given any better answers by anyone.

I have toes that are permanently numb from chemo and I still have constant tingling in hands and feet and under my arm is numb. neurontin did not work for me. I wish I had an answer but haven't found one yet so I just live with it. I will be seeing my naturopathic doc soon and will see what she says but at this point surgeon says it will stay that way.

My numbness and tingling in my feet were a result of weeks of severe swelling and lots of pain from tightness, I haven't recovered yet and the swelling went down in late June. At this point I was too afraid to ask anymore questions. I'm tired. It's bothersome but not painful.

I have numbness in my chest, armpit, arm and hand. The numbness moves into pain if I use it too much during the day. They say that it can be chemo induced, from the surgery, or from radiation. They have given me flexeral, which is a muscle relaxer, to see if this will help. The only issues, is that it makes you sleepy, so you have to be able to take a nap. Kind of a catch 22. Anyways, I just try to focus on the positive, do exercises, and try to tell myself if I have to deal with a bum arm instead of having cancer...I will take it. LOL See if you doctor can try to give you a medication to help. It kind of sounds like nueropathy, which I believe you can get from chemo. Sorry if this wasn't much help. :)

All I know at the moment is that my surgeon said in July that since it had been a year most likely all these symptoms would be permanent.
