Joanna, THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting that tip about the bath puffs. We have an in ground pool and I swim daily. Bought 4 new bathing suits last May and ended up having a bilateral mastectomy in July. Hate the thought of spending a fortune ($85- $260 for swim forms) to put in my ( new and not worn yet) bathing suits and don't want to buy new ones.

I use bath puffs - I cut a small slit in the bra area of my suit and just stuffed one in each side. Since they are made of nylon mesh they drain and dry really easily and actually look okay. There is a good site, breastfree.org, that has a lot of info.

I always spilled out of my suits. Now, it is a relief not to have that problem anymore. I feel that I look as good flat as I did full, maybe better. I am more concerned about my lymphedema arms and the weird fat deposits on my legs but I am not going to let that keep me in wraps. If someone doesn't like the way I look, they shouldn't look.

Those soft plastic pot scrubbers.

I am looking for the same thing. What is a scrubbie? I have a molded cup suit, an old one, I still look lopsided.
I made myself a prosthesis out of rice, the rubber/plastic are so hot in the summer. Filled a cotton prosthesis cover with
rice to about the same size as my natural breast, pop it my bra and wa la, just heavy enough to stay in place and not too hot.
