From your story I'm guessing you are 38...the current studied say pre menopausal wen under 35 do better with ovary suppression and arimotase inhibitors than they do on tamoxifen. They say for older premenopausal women like me (49) that tamoxifen works just as well. See the SOFT study. You were pretty close to 35 at diagnosis - if it see me if jump all over getting my ovaries out to stop the estrogen at the source but my docs won't support that for me.

I am on tamoxofien and still get my periods! My onc acts like its no big deal!! I do now have ovarian cysts so will see what the gyn. will do on Friday
