I am 4 months post chemo and herceptin. I am triple positive, stage 1 and am on Arimidex (which I hate and will talk to oncologist about switching). I have my first survivor appointment with my onc next week. What questions should I ask? Are there any other meds anyone takes, any other tests you have done or anything else I should be asking for? Thanks for any input on what to ask. I want to go prepared.
Ask him to run New Adjuvant Online on you. Mine did and it turned out hormone therapy only benefitted me 1%, so I quit with his blessing. That was 6 years ago!
Ask her if she is going to run any tumor markers tests on you. What are the goal numbers? I didn't ask it... And now I am worrying about my numbers.
