I had ACT chemo. I had treatment Wednesdays becaue I have small children...weekends hit hard so husband was home to take care of kids. My second AC day I was a steroid head! Running like a nut to get all errands done. Then
I am on TCHP. Today is day 4 and I am wiped out.. Have been taking 3 hour naps over the weekend. I made it through work (desk job) but am exhausted. I got my Neulasta shot today so we will see if that makes it better or worse.
Oops. Then in Taxol it was more cumulative. It hit me hard in 8 of 12 infusions. Drink lots of water and get rest when your body tells you it's time to slow down. I still ride my motorcycle on he off treatment weekend
One more thing, the steroids I took 2 days prior to my infusion kept me up all night. So I went into my first two treatments already exhausted and delirious from lack of sleep. That is when I was prescribed the lorazepam to help me sleep during the days I was on the steroids. They eventually had to lower my dose so I could get some sleep.
Day 3 often referred to as chemo Saturday!
