Mine grew back very white! I just had it colored and it was fine.

I use an ammonia free color - natural instincts - it's supposed to last 28 washes but my roots show before then so I color more frequently.

When mine first started growing back it was completely white fuzz but it actually got darker except for a small grey patch in the front which I color.

everyone must be different - my hair grew back the same way it looked before - my hair is dark and I had the same amount of gray as I had before. But I did color it when it got about an inch and a half
