I've lost weight since starting tamoxifen due to anti-cancer diet and exercise

I think studies show tamoxifen does not cause weight gain...everyone is unique though and I am sure it effects everyone differently. But we shouldn't assume it's our destiny.

I believe that if you gain weight it is because the tamoxifen is blocking your estrogen and loss of it can cause weight gain. Reason why so many woman complain of weight gain from menopause.

I've gained about 20 pounds since being on Tamox for a little over a year. I haven't changed any of my habits, but I'm about to start exercising (finally!) so I can see if I can lose a few pounds. I've read a lot of stories of women gaining weight on Tamox and not being able to lose it despite diets and exercise.
