I'm not having any side effects with Letrozole, but will discontinue at the five year mark in 2016.

I saw my oncologist and he agreed to just stop the letrozole. Not switching to anything else. Will see the Doctor again in 1 month.
I asked about the prognosticator that I had read about online. After entering my medical history the HR was only giving me. A 5 percent against recurrence! Not worth the side effects and the pain it causes.

I stopped Anastrozole after 3 months, switched to Letrozole, lasted a year, quit a few days ago. Taking 10 scripts to offset side effects which are only mildly effective. Very low quality of life. Scared though of recurrence. Feeling lost.

After 6 weeks without any hormone inhibitor I stiil have the bone and joint pain, vertigo. Side effects should have gone away after 2 weeks.
Bone scan and CT scan done Friday, got a call from Onc and a PET scan is now being scheduled. Not going to get excited about it till the results are in.

I took Arimidex for 1.5 years and then stopped due to the side effects. My onc agreed and sees me every three months now to monitor.
