Heck yeah they're more comfortable. My husband and I joke that the real reason they give you TEs is so that you're thinking "I don't care if an implant doesn't feel exactly like a real boob, it feels a bajillion times better than the TEs!"

And I'd agree with MamaH. In clothing, they look totall natural and normal. But naked... they aren't always pretty. It looks like I had a mastectomy.

The PS can pretty them up with additional procedures like fat grafting, nipple reconstruction, etc. But it will never look/feel like your real breasts. I've come to accept that because hey, they fill out my clothing quite nicely. And my husband loves me and is attracted to me, foobs and all. But it takes a bit of adjusting at first.

Ahhhhh!! AnneFlaim, you're a tummy sleeper too!! I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly wonderful it is to be able to sleep on my stomach again!! Yes!Yes!Yes! It took maybe four weeks out from surgery for me to feel 'safe' laying on them, but let me tell you, it was sooooo worth the wait. I started out by putting a pillow under my head and one under my stomach so that my breasts weren't fully pushing down on the mattress. I soon discovered that I could graduate to full tummy mode. Now when I go to bed at night, I just lay there for a bit and savor how totally comfie and cozy I feel!

I had my exchange last week!! They look a hundred times better. I was sore for three days but I refused to take anything more than tylenol. I have to be very careful about lifting things for the next few months because I had symmastia. The silicone implants do feel a lot better. It doesn't feel like the implants are pushing from inside out anymore. But it still feels like I have something strapped to my chest. I'm not complaining. I went to Kohls a couple of days ago and tried on some clothes. I must say, I looked pretty good!

The implant are more comfortable that is for sure. I had my first one done in January of 2013. From the beginning I was never really satisfied with the look of the implant or the reconstructed breast. So after about 9 months I went back to my PS and he agreed. The original implant was way over to the right armpit and there was a lot of indentation in the upper chest. So we did a revision in February of this year. Used a different and little larger implant also did some more reconstruction on the real breast. I am really happy with what it looks like now. Will it ever look like my real one, no probably not but it is as close as I can get. Chose not to do nipple reconstruction and am having a tattoo artist draw me up a tattoo to put over my scar. That is just a personal choice for me. Several woman have had the nipple reconstruction and are very satisfied. I just want you to know there can be revisions done after the original implant is put in and do not be afraid to ask. I do find for the first six months after both of my implants it has been more comfortable to wear a sports bra all the time.

they really are so much better. I was miserable too. You will be amazed at the natural feeling of the implants.
