How long after last chemo did you have enough hair to stop wearing wigs or hats?

Me about 3-4 months.
9 months all my hair was back full head.
I hated wearing a wig but too vain not to!
I did not want ppl feeling sorry for me with those pitiful looks!

@A MyBCTeam Member. Your eyebrows very well might continue to thin before growing back in. I actually lost all my eyebrows and eyelashes AFTER chemo when the new growth seemed to push them out. But I did have to go a few weeks looking like a skinned cat.

I had 4 rounds of AC. And had 10 out of 12 treatments with Taxol.
My hair is growing back..on my head and other areas. I have a fuzzy head! Has this happened to anyone? Nurse I spoke to wax surprised...

About 5 months after my last chemo i went out in public with my "post cancer" hair look.

@A MyBCTeam Member, very helpful link! My last chemo was June 24. My hair grew back like a Brillo pad so I had it cut about a month ago. Still not long enough to feel comfortable without a wig...probably gonna take a while. I will just never feel well until I have hair. I know that doesn't make sense but it is how I feel.
