So I had my port taken out 3 weeks before finding out that my Cancer had come back on my right side...I had the port going on 3yrs....now since I have choosen to do the bilateral mastectomy this time around my GS has told me that I will be getting a pick line until I can get my port back in...so my question to you ladies that have had pick lines..how are they? Do I just say no I want my port in? Decisions...Decisions
Pick lines hang out. you would have to get it flushed out often.
Ask why! The Dr may have an answer...... So sorry to hear about C returning, good luck and let us know why they choose the pick line.
Wow, never had a pick line but know friends that have. Why can't they put another port in when the BMX is done? My surgeon did and I was fine!! One less surgery!!
