Are you only having your ovaries removed? I had a robotic laparoscopic total hysterectomy and bilateral salping-oophorectomy and recovery was 2 weeks. If its abdominal you are looking at 4-6 weeks.

I'm only removing my ovaries and my ob told me it was a simple procedure. I had two C sections and the recoveries weren't easy for me so Im little concerned.
@A MyBCTeam Member, I'm getting silicon implants. I've heard some women have several surgeries to get them perfect. I've heard radiated skin makes it difficult to look nice as non radiated skin. But I'm so sick of surgeries I don't want it any more! Unless my boobs look obnoxiously odd looking, I'm sticking with them, hahaha!
I'm getting both of them done at the same time.

The implant surgery went very well and so did recovery. Only a week and I was back to work. :o)

I recently met with the plastic surgeon and he said two weeks off work for recovery from exchange surgery

Mine were done separately. The exchange was a piece of cake. I was kayaking 11 days later. Easy
Peezy! The ooph was at least 2-3 week recovery.
