I was on Arimidex for about a year and did not loose any hair. The problems I had were in all my joints where it was making me totally unable to function. It was bruital. I did not want to change as I awas afraid of the Arimason as the biggeset side effect is dirreaha and I already have Crohn's disease. But I did make the switch as my oncologist told me I could not live as I as on the Arimidex. All has been ok on the Arimason, some joint pain which the oncologist says will go away when I am done the medicine. Every person's body reacts differently to medications. Perhaps it is connected to the Chemo getting out of your system and the medication. Check it out. God Bless.

When Iwas taking Arimidex, I did notice some mild thinning of my hair, everything went back to the same as it was before when I finished the Arimidex

I took it for five years and did not have hair loss.

I have lost almost all of my hair on arimidex and now Lupron shots-incredible hip and foot pain :(

i am on arimidex also but my hair is just now starting to grow back from taking chemo it seems to be growing ok but i will ask my dr on the 14th and will write back then
