The doctor placed me on Neurontin due to the side effects of the amount of Taxcel I was given during my chemo treatments. I have noticed that I seem to be having some side effects that I do not like. Has anyone else used this drug or is there another drug out there that works but may not have so many side effects?
I was on it for 2 months, weight gain and added to my memory issues and stopped helping the pain after 3 weeks.

I split mine up. I have weight gain and I'm always tired. It could be the result of numerous side effects too. I take 9 different pills each morning. Its tough to figure out which is the one causing the issues. My vision cleared up but if I am tired, it gets bad again. I was shaky too but just found out I am now a diabetic and my blood sugar was too low or too high. Nice little rollercoaster to be on. I take Metformin for the diabetes and I still got shaky so the Dr just doubled it and I am feeling great now. Hardly get the shakes at all now. I take 300mg Neurontin 3 times a day. And I take 600mg if my legs wake me up at night with spasms.
Weight gain, blurry vision, makes me tired, causes me to shake. I take 600 mg at night. Suppose to take it three times a day.
