I Am Supposed To Take Herceptin. My Insurance Will Only Pay 90%. My 10% Is $400 A Dose. Is There Any Help To Pay For My 10%
Any organization to help with payment of Herceptin. My part $400 a dose
I went through the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The grant I received paid what my insurance didn't.
Contact www.patient advocate.org or www.cancercare.org or www.y-me.org who may know what local services are available to help you.
You may try the Herceptin hotline -- it's through Genentech, which is located in Vacaville/San Francisco, Calif. There is a toll-free line. I actually spoke to the pharmacist end of Genentech when I was having severe side-effects from the drug. Most people don't, so I had to do my own research. They are very helpful people.
I have a copayment card for herceptin. I only pay the copayment on the infusion center-copayment card covers my part of the drug. It is a huge blessing. My oncologists business office helped me with the application.
You can apply to the Patient Advocate Foundation in Virginia. That's what they do. Many of my Bosom Buddies have gotten help there. Phone is (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators). Also, your doctor can help with the paperwork for the pharmaceutical company's Patient Assistance Program. Lastly, CancerCare in New York -- 1-800-813-HOPE. All of this takes time so get right on it. Sending hugs and luck
Does Anyone Have Any Information Or Insights On Kanjinti? Is It As Effective As Herceptin?
