Thank you for your response. Would you say I should be prepared for another wig? :(
I have tissue expanders and I think I have an air bubble in it
I remember my last fill hearing pop, pop, pop. It was the fluid filling in
Hello all, I'm a year out from treatment. Had a single mastectomy with no expander or reconstruction. I've been getting this feeling off an on for a few months now where it sort of feels like an air bubble in my chest, not painful, just weird, and it radiates out and up and makes me a little lightheaded for a few seconds.
Starting to think it might be chemo/radiation treatment related since I never had this feeling before cancer.
Anyone have this happen to them? I'm starting to get a little… read more
I had a lumpectomy 18 months ago and my breast has started hurting a lot.I guess we all will have side effects for a very long time.
Tnks. I asked my Surgeon why not just take out the uterus and ovaries, she said no? Leads to more questions
I can feel some stubble but not very thick. I’m worried about this. Thank you all in advance
Sounds good.
It looks like a circular air pocket with an indented red line through it. No pain, just odd. My surgery was September 30th and this just developed around Christmas. Has anybody else had something similar. Can't get in to my doctor until Feb. 7th. When I press on it, it feels like there is just air and it pushes in easily and then when you let go pops back out...
Yes, I've had the same thing on the bottom of one side. Was told it's nothing to worry about. More annoying than anything else!
I already had my second fill and I am at 260 ccs in my expander. I feel pretty good but I just noticed an area on the side of my breast that looks like a bubble is underneath my skin. It is about a half inch in diameter. When I gently press on it, it gives in easily and does not hurt. Should I worry or notify my PS? Also, how would I know if my expander is leaking?
Let your surgeon know. But it's probably just shifting. My best to you.
So far, my skin is just very tender, but no other problems. I have heard that it can take a few weeks for it to become an issue. I am extremely tired from it though.
I used Calendula, Emu oil and Aloe Vera. My skin was slightly pink and nothing else. I did not have any fatigue
I have two small kids and when my numbers were good and I felt fine, I did everything I would normally would have done; school field trips to a day at Disneyland
But there were days I was just too… read more
I'm glad to hear you are happy with your reconstruction. I had a unilateral mastectomy so my reconstructed side is much flatter than my non-affected side (the reason why I asked about an anatomically… read more
