Has anyone taken Nerlnx after Herceptin ? If so how re the side effects?
Good to know. Thank you for the insight.
It is my understanding that any cancer cells remaining after surgery may develop resistance to the initial HER2-targeted treatment. Neratinib was developed to overcome this resistance by targeting the… read more

Recurrence???? I know this is a fear for all of us that never goes to sleep.... just curious....
How many of you have had recurrence.... if so.... here’s my 4 questions:
1)what/when was your initial diagnosis/stage?
2)what was the initial surgery (@ lumpectomy @or @ mastectomy (single @or double),
3)What chemical treatment?chemo, radiation, @ tamoxifen etc?)
4) how long after @your initial diagnosis did the recurrence happen? And what stage were you then?
on 1 Nov 22. Stage 1, Invasive ductal, Tumor was 17mm for initial. Bi-lateral, with -0-skin saving, -o- tats, -0-reconstruction. Flat! After surgery a sent. node bio. Tumor was 2.9mm, bc was in 2… read more
Scrap, how is your GI system doing now?
For anyone who has taken NERLYNX (following Herceptin and chemo) for early stage Her2 positive breast cancer, what has your oncologist told you as far as how much it reduces the future risk of recurrence? My doc said it was a very low percent, but then I see much higher percentages online and on the NERLYNX website. I'm going to discuss it again w/my onc, but I'm wondering what you girls have experienced. Thank you.
Ok, thanks for clairfying. I wasn't BRACA. This is all JUST SO CONFUSING and overwhelming.
For those that are early stage triple positive/Her2 positive, have any of you been through, taken, or still on Nerlynx (neratinib)? If yes, how was your experience and did you have any permanent liver damage?
Hello pink sisters! I’m getting really scared because I’m about to finish chemotherapy and now the next thing is tamoxifen. There are so many side effects I’m really nervous and there is also a risk of uterine cancer. Was thinking about a hysterectomy but need to do more research. I’m feeling overwhelmed been doing chemo since 2/2022 just want to be done already!! I’m feeling a little depressed and I’ve been so tired. Started with TCHP that was one rough ride! Then had surgery followed by… read more
cancer is so awful.
I would definitely take the anti diarrhea Meds along with it. I am taking about 1/2 pill daily to keep things under control. Some days I take nothing. Most times I'm good. My worst situation is when I… read more
Hi. Anyone taking nerlynx? If so when you finished it after a year did your doctor prescribe you any other oral chemo? I had stage 3 breast cancer, chemo for 6 round changed from HER2 neg to positive and then 8 more chemo treatments and 30 radiation. Now taking nerlynx for 9 months. Scans clear but constantly worry about cancer coming back😢
