I am now 10 months on Letrozole. I've been trying several supplements with oncologist approval to alleviate the pain and stiffness. I read an article re Omega3fish oil being very beneficial. Is anyone on here taking it?

Good morning 🌅 BB2. Consult your doctor on Omega 3 fish oils. Right now research results are mixed. Have a bless Sunday.
Hi BB2! I have taken Cod Liver oil (1tsp) for many years for its omegas. The research recommends Carlson’s. It’s on Amazon. We get lemon flavored bc the taste is not pleasant. It’s a liquid so most absorbent (no pill covering to it). Cod is the healthiest fish to eat. You can eat it instead but it’s very hard to get your daily need met that way. It’s not cheap (neither is cod fish!!) but it lasts a long time. It has helped joint pain and my healthy fats in blood. Run by Dr if interested. 🤞
I take omega 3 and turmeric both with the go ahead from my oncology team. The thing that actually helped the aches and pains the most was going gluten free. I’d been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and so many said to go GF, so since my daughter already was, I knew what to do. What I didn’t plan on was the significant decrease in aches and pains I just figured I’d deal with while on letrozole (now exemestane). Seriously, it has helped so much!!! One can’t take fish oil tablets if one is taking blood thinners like Eliquis.
Otherwise, they do help with fibrosis also.
My oncologist said I shouldn’t take fish oil. Something about drug interaction/effectiveness. I’ve been using tart cherry for years for my lupus and ra. It works for my stiffness and inflammation.
I take a ton of drugs for my other chronic conditions though.
Hope you find a solution!💕
