It's really good that you're staying informed — knowing what to watch for can make a big difference. When breast cancer spreads to the liver, symptoms don't always show up right away. In fact, doctors often catch it first through blood tests called liver function tests.

When symptoms do appear, here's what to look out for:

- Fatigue and weakness that doesn't improve with rest
- Loss of appetite or unexplained weight loss lasting more than a week
- Pain or soreness in the upper-right area of your abdomen
- Swollen legs caused by fluid buildup
- Fever lasting more than four days
- Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), caused by a buildup of a substance called bilirubin It's worth noting that some of these symptoms can overlap with side effects from breast cancer treatment itself, so try not to panic if you notice them.

That said, always report any new or changing symptoms to your care team right away so they can identify the cause and act quickly if needed.
