I am exhausted, in pain, I could barely walk lately because I am always so tired. When does it get better? What else do you recommend for burns? Using aloe (the plant), aquaphor, and some ointment that my radiologist prescribed.

Sorry, but that is something not to be attempted at all with this severe breast radiation burn.
Specialized lotions and other medical supplies only approved by the radiation oncologist is the way to go.

Suzette4, this is a CALL to you Radiation Oncologist for a visit and evaluation you need Silvadene ointment for burns and monitoring for this burn.
Yes you may be done with your radiation treatments but your burns need attention to heal properly.
Call the Radiation Oncology Clinic TOMORROW and be seen by them for the burns.

I used Miaderm for weeks even after it healed. So awful; so sorry. Group advice good. Shower warm; never spray directly on breast.Keep it DRY DRY. I stood under ceiling fan often,lift arms, lift saggy breast. I was allergic to silver oxide ointment, made it worse. Cleansed with onco nurse directed solution. Check with radiology nurse. Are you allergic to sulfate, sulfur?
Suzette, I would look into a different doctor asap. I am not a doctor but that is Not Right. I would listen to the ladies above and go to er if gets worse and definitely get a different Doctor !!!! My Heart and Prayers are with you. Also find a Naturopath a EXCELLENT one and have them give suggestions, it does Not hurt to check in with Conventional and Wellness for this burn.
