If you haven't checked with your doctor office please contact them and let them know what's going on with your skin and ask them if you are doing the right thing by using Polysporin and the saline solution compresses. Good luck, I hope your skin heals quickly ❤️

Are you asking about skin care during breast cancer treatment?

Using CeraVe and Aquaphor for moisturizing is a great approach, especially during treatment. These gentle, fragrance-free products help protect and soothe sensitive skin.

Adding Polysporin to prevent infection can be helpful if you have broken skin, sores, or areas at risk of infection. However, it's important to check with your healthcare team before applying antibiotic ointments, especially:

- On areas receiving radiation treatment
- Near surgical sites
- If you're experiencing skin reactions from chemotherapy

General skin care tips during treatment:

- Continue moisturizing daily with gentle, fragrance-free products
- Avoid products with alcohol, dyes, or strong fragrances
- Keep treated areas clean with mild, unscented soap and lukewarm water
- Pat skin dry gently instead of rubbing
- Protect your skin from sun exposure with SPF 30 or higher

If you're noticing signs of infection (increased redness, warmth, swelling, or drainage), contact your doctor right away rather than self-treating with over-the-counter antibiotics.

What specific skin concerns are you managing right now?
