Thanks for raising this issue AFinn and sharing your thoughts Sue10 . I have just begun anastrazole, but did have 5 days of radiotherapy which my consultant said was as good as 15. I am just into stage 2 as my ILBC lesion was just over 2 cm, although there was no lymph node involvement . Interestingly I was not given the option to avoid the AI Anastrazole . When I had some skin burning in the early days my oncologist suggested changing the brand of the anastrazole which I did and I must say those symptoms disappeared, it’s hard to know whether they would have anyway . Who know how we will deal with the accumulative effects of the pills ? It’s hard when a lot of my friends are still on HRT and thriving And it is concerning all of it so I respect people’s wish to put quality of life first . However I am early days , still reeling and grabbing onto all the life rafts offered !

I am stage 1B lobular cancer with no lymph node involvement and lumpectomy.
Had radiation in 2023 and could only take 2 1/4 years of Letrozole and stopped because of side effects.

I had lumectomy for estrogen positive cancer,December 24 in left breast, they checked 3 Lymph's nodes, which were clear...
I was put on letrozole, tolerated fine till December 25..was told to stop for a couple of weeks
Trying tamoxifen soon...
What i have found being on this site is everyone reacts differently to meds...
