Has anyone ever been on the Enhertu chemo regimen but came back with positive lymph nodes? Did you then switch chemo? If you did switch, what chemo regimen did you switch to? For TNBC treatments. Thanks so much!

Has anyone on Enhertu had positive lymph nodes return, and did you continue or switch treatments?

The search results don't include specific member experiences about developing positive lymph nodes while on Enhertu. However, treatment decisions when cancer progresses depend on several factors.

If cancer isn't responding as expected or progresses, doctors typically use tests during follow-up appointments to determine if a treatment change is needed. For HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer, if Enhertu stops working, other options include:

* Other antibody-drug conjugates
* Kinase inhibitors that block growth signals in cancer cells
* Different HER2-blocking protein drugs
* Chemotherapy combined with other HER2 therapies like pertuzumab (Perjeta) or trastuzumab (Herceptin)

Your oncologist will consider your specific situation, including how your cancer is responding and what treatments you've already tried. If you're experiencing progression, it's important to discuss all available options with your doctor to find the best next step for your care.

Connecting with other MyBCTeam members who've been on Enhertu might provide additional insights about their experiences with treatment changes.

Sorry!
I would guess they would change the treatment since it stopped working.
Wishing you well!

No, but as another HER2+ gal, I wanted to send hugs and prayers your way as you and your team determine what changes might be needed to your protocols!
