Both times I had chemo my skin got drier and I got itchier. I noticed it most on my scalp and legs. I finished chemo last July and my skin is still dry and scalp is still itchy. My oncologist says that now a lot of the problem is caused by the Letrozole I started taking in November because depleting your body of estrogen makes your skin drier. I was told to use lotion. I hate using lotion because it's slimy and takes a while to soak in before you can get dressed.

Hi, itching was a serious problem for me. I used hydrocortisone cream and Benadryl. It helped enough not to scratch all the time.

It can cause a rash.
Winter time is hard with chemotherapy because it is so dry. Maybe try a room humidifier, use non scented lotion. You could mention it tour team.
