My surgeons were very happy with the soft, open in the front and with hook closures from Walmart. I also bought a few from Belks and Khols. They all opened in the front, were soft and had relatively good support. Wishing you well. Stay in touch. Love and hugs!

Suzanne, I just bought a sports bra that zips up the front. I wore it 24/7 for a week. It felt great.

I found being a girl with larger breasts- the best compression was from Torrid. It was a high impact/front zip. I couldn’t think about wearing it for the first week, but once I was 5 days post op, I had enough reduced swelling I could put it on with some help. First week was a bando for torrid, that felt a little easier to put on, and didn’t pull or tug at anything.

I still find myself really tender and swollen post lumpectomy, as the bruising is starting to heal. But not rushing recovery, just listening to my body and using ice packs still.

I've had 3 different reconstructive plastic surgeons and all of them wanted me to wear a bra that closed in the front with hooks. They have some cheap all cotton ones at Walmart. They are ugly, but all 3 doctors were happy with them.

I woke up after surgery wearing one, it was the same as @A MyBCTeam Member. It was perfect.
