Possibly- our PCP recommended it for the hub's gout- as it helps with inflammation. I used it before bed to help with sleep. Between arthritis and insomnia- I can have real trouble! lol!
As always- checks with your doctor first to make sure that it is not in conflict with any of your meds! Hugs!

Does tart cherry supplement help with joint pain from breast cancer treatment?

The search results don't include specific information about tart cherry supplements for joint pain related to breast cancer treatment. However, there are several other approaches that MyBCTeam members and research have found helpful for managing joint pain.

Some options that have shown promise include:

* Claritin (loratadine) - an allergy medication that some members report helps with joint pain from treatments like chemotherapy and aromatase inhibitors
* Pain medications like acetaminophen or ibuprofen
* Regular exercise, including yoga and walking
* Acupuncture
* Massage therapy
* Collagen supplements

A MyBCTeam member shared: "I walk or ride my bicycle daily and do yoga when the weather does not permit outdoor activities" to help manage pain.

Before trying any new supplement, including tart cherry, it's important to talk with your cancer care team. They can help ensure it won't interact with your treatments and guide you toward the most effective options for your specific situation.

Yikes! No wonder you went to the ER- especially since you had just done your garage door without any issues! I was out using the weedwhacker and hedge trimmer under the large evergreens today. Burned through one battery, and the second one was close to gone- so I called it quits! I could have come in to get the two back up batteries, but since the thumb and finger were complaining- figured- I had gotten done what I had planned, so called it a day. Next step is to go out with my electric hand saw and my chain saw to take out some lower branches, and things that decided to grow in the understory. That I will hit one tree at a time- lol! They are big! Thankfully, the cedars through large, do not have as much for me to trim. But sometimes we just have to listen to those joints!

So glad that you are feeling better and the swelling is going down- crazy to think we are at the point where we are relieved to see wrinkles- lol!! Keep healing! Hugs!

Virginia, I wasn’t able to move my hand from the wrist to the end of my fingers. I thought it was gout, I had never been Dx. with it. X-rays showed arthritis in the thumb and wrist joint. I got a shot for pain, wrist brace, and 7.5 mg Meloxicam for 30 days. The Tart Cherry Juice did seem to stimulate the inflammation to reduce and my hand had wrinkles, showing the swelling getting better. I took Meloxicam for years till I developed Renal Insufficiency and taken off of it. Now it is only as a have to. I just didn’t want go into details. ❤️

I am so sorry- it had to be pretty scary and painful for you to head to the ER! And so glad that something as simple as the TC juice is helping! Hope you continue to heal from your good deed! Hugs!
