Hi Glynese! I did not get the spots, but wow- did my hands ever get super dry, and crack during chemo- probably did not help that I started chemo is January, when everything- everywhere is dry indoor heat! I tried a variety of things- including Udder Butter, Bag Balm, etc. , everything that always worked when I was out doing barn work. Finally- I found that if I put a small bit of coconut oil in my palm- let it warm up with my body heat- and massage it in- repeat if necessary to get all the hand down- and then!!! Put on a pair of the white cotton eczema gloves- and sleep overnight that way. In the morning, my hands felt so soft and happy!! I had a few pairs of gloves so I could wash and reuse! Hello Glynese, my palms did not get dark but I did experience dryness and my finger & toe nails did turn black took months to go away for the dryness I used Aquaphor Healing ointment very good not sure if the dark side effect was from the Chemo or radiation and radiation turned my left breast black, I am
African American but it was way beyond my natural skin tone. Hang in there do research on things that might help. sending a Huggggg

It sounds like hand and foot syndrome. It is definitely from chemo and s very very painful. I do not know what remedies there are. So sorry you’re dealing with this
