No I don't know because I only had a lumpectomy, I'm sure exercises help
though.

Yes tightness might last. Get a PT to work on this as soon as surgeon approves. However, just FYI, I am 1.5 years past my DMX and I still have quite a bit of tightness. It’s of course better than before but don’t expect miracles. Just accept every little win. It does get easier with time. 4 weeks is still pretty fresh and I wouldn’t expect perfection, just improvement. 💕

CathyCoglin and TeTo Does either of you have tightness when moving your arms? I am in week 4 today and I have a good range of motion but very tight especially in armpits and side.

About the same here but you need to remain careful with lifting anything heavy or stretching too far. Gentle movements are best

I had full range of motion after about 3 weeks. I'm still working a bit on strengthening but, it's coming along.
