When choosing a shampoo after chemotherapy, it's important to be gentle with your regrowth. Here are key recommendations for hair care products:

• Use mild, sulfate-free shampoos
• Look for products with natural ingredients
• Consider the Nioxin system, which some patients have found helpful for regrowth and bald spots
• Always use conditioner when shampooing To protect your new hair growth and maximize results:

• Only massage shampoo gently into the scalp
• Let hair air-dry instead of using heat
• Use a wide-toothed comb for detangling
• Avoid harsh chemicals and heat styling tools
• Consider wearing protective head coverings when in the sun

Remember to be patient with regrowth - it typically begins about four months after completing chemotherapy.
