Having breast cancer that is hormone positive for estrogen and/or progesterone means your cancer feeds and grows off of those hormones. Hormone positive breast cancers are the most common type. As such, it also means you have more treatment options. Hormone positive cancers are typically a less aggressive type of breast cancer than being diagnosed with HER2 positive or triple negative breast cancer.

Yolene, IDC is the most common place for bc to originate, and most (about 80%) of cases are hormone driven, in your case, by Estrogen. Try searching for information as Estrogen Positive breast cancer, you should be able to find lots of info. Just remember to stick with the trustworthy sites, like the Mayo Clinic, etc.
