I'm looking through my medical papers and saw my Ki-67 is 70-80%. Googling this did not look good. Now I'm worried. Is anyone's this high and complete treatment fine? Almost done with chemo and of course I'm worried now.
The Ki-67 proliferation index measures how quickly cancer cells are dividing. While a lower Ki-67 index typically indicates less aggressive cancer, having a higher number doesn't mean treatment won't be effective. Your medical team has already taken this information into account when designing your treatment plan.

Honestly Brittany, was terrified for a long time. And that wasn’t good for me. It got better about 6-8 months after my last treatment. I thought about recurrence every day, throughout the days. It was consuming.
My last mammogram, 5 years 8 months after treatment was the first time since diagnosis I did not obsess about it.
I am guessing you need time. This is a scary journey !
Mine was 90%, I choose to not let it bother me. I’ve completed my chemo and I’m down with Herceptin to the last 2 infusions. I’ve had double mastectomies with reconstruction I’m finally swapping out my tissues expanders on September 4th for the implants. I can’t wait to breathe a little easier after that. Be positive and look to the future with hope! Hugs
I totally get it about worrying. I think we all do even if each of us has slightly different areas that worry us. My doc told me to learn to live with this risk. I thought it was crazy but I actually understand now. We can’t let the worry get the best of us. And he’s had cancer himself so he knows what he’s talking about. ♥️
Mine was 85%. I had chemo, surgery and radiation. I was diagnosed with TNBC 8/30/18. I am no evidence of cancer.
You got this!
