I’ve had 4 weekly chemo treatments out of 12 total. My side effect is a migraine headache. Suggestions on an otc product to lessen the headache. Suggestions??

One of the strangest but apparently very helpful things I have heard about for chemo headaches is eat lots of watermelon. It really is great for hydration in case being dehydrated from the chemo is the true cause of the headaches. It's low in calories and doesn't interfere with medications. A cup of diced watermelon is only 46 calories. A lot of people have trouble with drinking lots of water and the watermelon sure tastes better than plain H2O.

Tylenol, or advil. But check with your oncologist to see if it's ok to take Advil

I didn’t have chemo but I’ve had migraines and excederin migraine always took them away. As others stated check with your oncologist to see if that’s ok.
