I had Taxol first TNBC. I had AC first. I found Taxol to be like a vacation after AC!
Very little nausea, some fatigue. Neuropathy in hands and feet is a common side effect. Would strongly encourage icing during the infusions. Amazon sell mittens and footies with inserts to freeze.

I was also on paclitaxel after being diagnosed in 2023 with triple positive IDC. Stage 2a, grade 2, no node involvement, clear margins. I had chemo for 13 weeks with weekly infusions and Herceptin every 3 weeks, I tolerated herceptin well but had reactions to paclitaxel. The oncology team had to increase my dosage of Benadryl before and after each session. I was weak and got a serious lung infection. But my appetite was ok. I felt so much better after the chemo and radiation treatments were done. But now I’m on exemestane and the side effects are joint pain, dry skin, fatigue. But I’m getting better and am grateful for each new day. I wish you well on your treatments and sending you positive thoughts for a speedy recovery from the treatments.
