My first treatment was over a week ago,I’ve now developed chapped lips (including all around the lip line)
I used just a dab of organic coconut oil. No fragrance, dyes, etc. Later on, as chemo progressed during the winter months, my hands were super dry and cracking. I found that if I put a small amount of coconut oil in my palm and let it melt, then massaged it in AND then put on the white cotton eczema gloves overnight, my hands felt so much better in the morning! I bought the gloves- multiple pairs- so that I could wash/dry and reuse. Wishing you all the best! Hugs!
Stay hydrated. Drink a ton of water. Lip balm helps but you have to continually appy it throughout the day. Wishing you the very best. Endless hugs!
How are you doing today? Stay in touch, please. We love you and we care. Endless hugs!!
My rheumatologist recommended plain saline nose spray for my nose beliefs and visible for my weepy eyes. She said they were weepy because they were dried out from chemo. Same with my nose.
Worked wonders. Phys assist oncology cream as mentioned before and shower with dove ultra moisturizer body wash. Saved my skin and sanity.
Been there done that. Stay hydrated.
