IBC is a rare but aggressive form of breast cancer that affects 1-5% of breast cancer cases. Unlike typical breast cancers, IBC usually doesn't present with a lump. Instead, it develops quickly with distinctive symptoms affecting the appearance of the breast.

There are 5 top Breast Cancer sites nationwide that especially deal with this BC and have teams of doctors skilled in this BC.
One in Boston, 2 in NYC and one in Ohio and the MD Anderson site in TX.
Ask your doctors if they have had experience with this particular BC or if there are any in your area with this knowledge and experience. Your doctors will work as a team.
There are national and international protocols for Inflammatory Breast Cancer which all doctors will follow.
