Angelita, check at your cancer center, ours had a separate support group for caretakers and family. There they could share their feelings- they get scared, tired, and overwhelmed at times too- without feeling like they were adding to the worries of the family member with cancer.

@A MyBCTeam Member it's not that its frustrating when a man appears here, I personally just think this place here should be a personal space for women. Women with Breast cancer is a lot different than men with Breast cancer. Women lose their breast, they talk about nipple and breast reconstruction, then the hormonal changes they experience on hormone blocking drugs. Some women are highly emotional before and after losing their breast, men don't have to go through that. Some women have problems dealing with their husbands or significant others seeing them without their Breasts. This site not only deals with the diagnose and the treatments of Breast cancer but all the emotional stuff that comes along with it. Yes, a site like this would be beneficial for men with Breast cancer and families with a loved one who ha it.
