@A MyBCTeam Member Don't look at stats that give time frames on how long you will live. Women have the tendency to think if they are stage 4 they will have 5 years left. If you focus on 5 years, just think how many great things you will miss during those 5 years just counting down the days until death comes. You could live 10-15 yrs or longer with this so do your treatments and take one day at a time.

@A MyBCTeam Member I am also stage 4, for 3 years now. On Anastrozole for a year which kept me stable until October when a new bone lesion appeared on CT scan . Drugs eventually stop working when you are stage 4 and then new drugs are prescribed and it continues, different drug protocols when previous ones stop working. The time frame is different for every woman. Some women can last a few years on one drug therapy and some women keep changing more frequently. Just because we are stage 4 doesn't mean we have 5 years and thats it. Women are living 10 plus years with stage 4 Breast cancer. Try not focus on how much time you have left, you will drive yourself crazy doing that and if you only think about how much time you have left thats going to put a huge dent in any joy or good that can happen every day. One day at a time. Enjoy today. ๐Ÿฅฐ

I plan to take it until it quits working and then switch to another one.
