For someone with IDC Stage 1, Grade 1, ER/PR-positive, HER2-negative, treatment options like hormone therapy may be considered instead of radiation, depending on individual factors. I'm 56. Triple positive. I had a stage 0 DCIS 9mm, and stage 1a 5mm IDC without lymph node involvement. I had a double mastectomy to avoid radiation.
