I'm currently having my tissue expanders filled over the weeks of chemo...I have 10 more weekly chemo treatments with paclitaxel then they will wait approx a month to do my actual reconstruction with implants. Not sure if your going that route or implants after chemo 😉

According to my knowledge base, reconstructive surgery is typically delayed until after chemotherapy to allow your body to heal. The exact timing depends on your individual treatment plan, but it can be weeks, months, or even years after chemotherapy. This delay ensures that chemotherapy does not interfere with the healing process or affect the appearance of the reconstructed breast. Always consult your oncologist to determine the best timing for your situation.
