Pediatric needles for blood draws/IV's, I never thought of that as a possibility for us .

I have an oncologist's appointment later today.
I cannot wait to ask about using a pediatric butterfly needle for my future lab work appointments.
Apparently, these needles are used for babies and adults with fragile veins that roll.
Yes, those are the baby needles they always use on me- the draw takes a little longer but it allows them to draw from the veins at the top of my hand. Not uncomfortable at all.
