Yep—lost it all by the third treatment. Thought I’d have a hard time with it but told the nurses at the infusion center that if I had known it would lower my core body temperature by about three degrees I would have shaved it all off willingly during menopause. I have finally stopped being hot all of the time!! Couldn’t wear a wig-too hot. Had a head covering for work mostly because my patients worried more about me than I did them. Mostly just wore a baseball cap if I covered my head at all. Hair started growing back about two months after treatment.

Yes lost my hair, eye lashes and part of my eyebrows plus hair everywhere else in my body. But it grew back 3 months after my taxol treatments ended.

I started losing my hair after my third and went in and had my hairdresser shave it off. I didn’t like it falling out in clumps and I had purchased lots of fun colorful on cap to wear with my fake bangs that I have a quote on. You will not only lose your hair on your head but you’ll probably also lose your eyelashes, your eyebrows, and hair elsewhere on your body. Mine on your back in. My hair on my head grew back curly.

i'm sorry that i can't speak to the taxol - i believe due to age, onca 11 and lob, i doubt chemo will be recommended when i see onc. late august

with all my infirmities throughout the years, i guess i was never ill enough to experience the telegen effluvium - [certainly never heard of it till it happened to me]

of course being in menopause for so long has made my hair thinner & different -but it never came out in handfuls till covid - i was lucky [plus good diet i think] that it grew back

fast forward to this may & the uni mx - about 6 wks. after all the stress of the surgery [family had to fly from fl. {ocala} since my younger daughter & i are alone in pa.] plus having to stay in a hotel in phila. for the wk due to hosp loca. - i lost as much as i did after covid

it feels like it may be over & i think i can feel the re-growth of what would have been a shaving/buzz cut - with 100's of little stubby little hairs sprouting under the longer stringies which held on for dear life 😜

i often think of taking the plunge since we love driving with windows down or often walk the mountain in strong wind without being prepared with ties or hats & hair often becomes a tangled mess
